Take SQL Server offline so that the cluster drives disappeared. Start the service pack updated via Windows Update Wait until the hexadecimal folder appeared on a local drive Start ONLY the cluster disks in the Cluster manager role, just in case it needs access to any SQL Server files before it stops the cluster role.
