Aside from that, scenes of chaos are portrayed nicely, so you'll never be left wondering how a certain victim was killed. The sounds could be MUCH better. The music is annoying at best, and atmospheric and ambient sounds are almost non-existent; even footsteps are absent.
I had to turn off my speakers while playing this game as I actually developed an earache. The game doesn't present much difficulty, as its puzzles are usually logical, but beware of getting stuck - if you need help it's not going to come easy, as The Dark Half was never very popular and there are no walkthroughs readily available. At certain points you will be at a loss as to what to do. One of your major objectives is to evade the police.
How to do this will be a road-block for a few seconds, so trial and error will have to be used if you want to properly escape.
Overall, The Dark Half is an average game, nothing too special will come from it, and I have to give it three out of five.
